The main difference between mobile home and traditional home insurance is the requirements. Your mobile home must meet a few conditions first, including:

  • Your mobile home meets CSA Z240MH standards.
  • Your mobile home is attached to a permanent foundation system.
  • Your mobile home meets the manufacturer's standards for anchoring, support and stability.
  • Your mobile home is connected to a [septic tank or sewage system].
  • Your mobile home has a central heating system installed.
