Modular Homes

Homes come in all shapes, sizes and types of construction. At Middlesex Mutual we have been insuring homes for a long time.

A modular home is built in a factory then moved to the building site. The home is usually placed on a full foundation. Modular home insurance is very similar to traditional home insurance.

Talk to a Middlesex agent for more details.

The main difference between modular home and traditional home insurance is the requirements. Your modular home must meet a few conditions first, including:

  • Your modular home meets CSA A277 standards.
  • Your modular home meets all local building codes.
  • Your modular home is connected to a septic tank or sewage system.
  • Your modular home has a central heating system installed.
